I saw the spoilers for the Supernatural season 8 finale so I thought Naomi did something good and metatron had some evil plan. But there was nothing like that.

Metatron was trying to save the humans by killing all the evil angels and Naomi was only trying to protect her hide.

Have we all forgotten that Naomi tried to get Castiel to kill Dean and tortured many other Angels (Cas included).

Naomi got what she deserved.
